Beginning with a juxtaposition of Jagjit Singh’s “Apne Aankhon ke samandar mein…” with “Udhaya Udhaya” By Chinmayi Sripada ( Of  Kannathil Muthamittal  / Tere Bina Fame). What a talent and the title says it all. πŸ™‚ FANTABULOUS!

After her followed by two contestants of Airtel Super Singer 2008. Creatively phenomenal with their rendering of ‘Malargale’ from “Love Birds” – Composed by A R Rahman. Its must mention! πŸ™‚ Great work guys!

‘Spirit’ – A collaborative painting

Spirit’- This is a new painting is by Yamini Menon and an addon by me- Hari.

An experiment of how we could collaborate on a single painting painted at different instances, at different point of time and different state of mind. And VOILA! this was it ended with when our minds met. Let us know your thoughts on this. As always we are happy to know new perspectives of a painting which we might have missed seeing it in.

Hoping to hear from some readers! πŸ™‚

A wednesday – I watched on Monday!

Watched this film on a Monday, wrote about it on a Tuesday and publishing it on ‘A Wednesday’ . Watched it in FUN Cinemas, Bangalore. πŸ™‚

A sleek, cutting edge, fast, interesting story with two veteran actors namely Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in the lead. A movie which conveys the thought of a common man on terrors he faces and taking an extra step further of what happens when the common man turns back to face realities he’s been adjusting to as a part of his daily life. A very well narrated film which keeps you at the edge of the seat till the very end of the film with the suspense. Keeps you glued with interesting dialogues used at the right intervals. The editing is surely an asset to this film which supported the narration and gave it the required pace. Jimmy Shergill’s performance was a ‘JOB WELL DONE’ I must say.

A Brave and Intelligent take on Terrorism from the point of view of the COMMON MAN.

Rating: 4/5

I watched this movie ” JUNO ” last night. This movie is an academy award winner 2007 for best story/screenplay. I liked it.

A sensitive issue narrated in a very intelligent, humorous, sleek and humanely manner with atitude. The protagonist was stupendous throughout the film. The characters were close to real life, with them acting just their age. Emotions expressed right till the end of the film.

This film is surely a lesson for aspiring filmmakers on how a narration can be effective keeping it simple. Getting the right shots, right expressions and right cuts right on time. This surely did teach me a few.

On a contrast, I am still wondering whether did it really deserve an Oscar ( if we consider it to be the best of awards). I care a damn, though.

A must watch film. πŸ™‚

Rating: 4/5

P.S. Film on the similar lines were made in our Bollywood too called KYA KEHNA but I feel there is a discrepancy in the narration and the exchange of emotions with the film from JUNO to this. I am guessing it is because of the over cast of drama, over-acting, unnecessary songs, dialogues, metaphors. The dish is well cooked only when there is a right amount of ingredients added at the right time.

Watched Kung-Fu Panda atlast the other day at home. And guys I surely did, on an original DVD.

Loved every bit of the film from the starting titles till the end. It was ‘PURE AWESOMENESS’.

Rating: 4/5

p.s. Shall write a review soon. Watch this space. πŸ™‚

Maddy a.k.a Madhavan.R in my FRIENDS LIST

Well in compliment to the frustration on Facebook, here is something good that happened. A pending post I wanted to share.

“A Celebrity in my friend list – MADHAVAN of RDB, RHTDM Fame in Bollywood and many fabulous movies in Tamil.” I was also happy that I got to chat with him on Facebook. The proof, the image above. Though it was not a lengthy conversation, yet it was a good 4 lines of to-fro talk. πŸ™‚ Well, might sound kiddish. But what the hell.. I’m liking it. πŸ˜€ For many wondering if this Madhavan is genuine, well sure is… cause I double verified his links. And I know a couple of people who would can be only real and not fake.

Adding to my celebs on FB list, I have ‘Rajesh Vaidya’ A renowned VEENA Vidhwan and also ‘G V Praksah’ the nex music director in the tamil film industry whose currently passing great waves of music.

Thats all folks. πŸ™‚

Where is my wall?

I log on to Facebook one morning. It tempted me to switch to the ‘New Facebook’ option. I was really happy to see a transformation of my messy, long, never-ending Facebook page to a sleek, organized, no-to-much scroll page.  Loved every bit of it. Enjoyed every click and intuitiveness of Facebook. Let me comment on others’ status, write on other’s wall from my page, added photographs, everything that could be done, but…. came that one day during which I wanted to write on someone else’s wall. Searched everywhere, tried every option, looked through second means of doing it. I COULDN’t FIND MY WALL or THE WALL OF THE PERSON I VISITED. I was lost among the million useless, once-used apps. After a long search, frustration built. Thought would shift to the old FACEBOOK where I knew where the wall was. Again to my disappointment, the NEW FACEBOOK is here to stay. Gave up hopes on finding my wall, just went to my mail of FB and sent the mail to the respective person.

Ok Facebook guys, you better be making things a bit more clearer and easier for the user. Thats all I have to say. And for the people who are reading this, if you know where I could find the wall on Facebook. Please do leave me a post or a mail. Will thank you in advance.

Great day all. πŸ™‚
