Whoa!!!!! I am so glad I’m seeing a computer with internet. I ain’t exaggerating, I really had to fish for some an internet cafe to check my mails. My search began on Wednesday of this week, finally found one on Friday before I came to a conclusion that this city city is still stone age {now I’m exxaggerating, lol} All the boards which said INternet, email, games….. do not exist in real when you land up the door of the shop!!!! Its like a thirsty man finding a mirage of a spring….. but finally he does find a real spring, just like I found this one…I am so glad as I’m writing this.. so I have to give credits to the this shop guy.. its called ‘ Sri Ayyappan Ned Cafe’ Indhernet for Rs. 10 with A/C’ [which was an attraction factor, thought there was a nice fan to chill the place]
My journey has been pretty interesting to me from the time I boarded the KSRTC Airavath which broke at 10.30 pm in the middle of nowhere and reached Triv the next day at 3 pm almost a days journey, which was not meant to be so, as it was to be only 16 hrs!!!! Anyways…. The city has managed to maintain its culture, language, tradition and history really very well…. me with my buddy Raghu( still not a blogger to link) clicked some real good pictures. There might be an impression that we are here for fun, but NOPE! we are on FilmCamp.TV work for a workshop of filmmaking here in this city. WORK IS IN PROGRESS…..
Shall surely share more interesting events that are worth a space in my memory
soon…. as soon as I’m back to Bangalore which would be possibly in another 5 days!!!!!
Laters
P.S. Few things I would like to add on
- get a lappy ASAP with wireless internet which is one thing I decided to do.
And ya…. there is lots of such internet cafes near the Trivandrum Techno Park which is like 18 kms away from the city { it sounds like flashing a torch light at the sun, lol} anyways!!!! ON the GOOD NOTE: it surely is a beautiful city and lots of interesting things to know as well……. and to learn like Malayalam which I managed pretty well, unlike my buddy who tries his best to bend Kannada into Malayalam.. sounds muerderous.. but KUDOS to his effort
A chance to get out of the city buzz of Bangalore. I will be heading to Trivandrum today evenin by bus in 8 hrs from now. Have been hearing loads of things about ‘Gods Own Country’ ever since God created me. The lush green land, countless coconut trees, the Mallu English, the fish dishes
