We chill this summer for cheap. All thanks to ‘The May Day’. At the Sigma Mall, the Gelato Italiano ice cream at Rs. 9. Raghu, Hrish and me were hanging around at the food court using the free wi-fi available he he… :) Well wat the hell… Ok!!! So I thought they deserved an acknowledgement. So here it is. Watch out for the pictures and also check out the guys belting on the ice cream.

“The presence was made pretty good by some pretty girls. Hrish was all glad it was summer for he could admire wearing micro mini skirts for lot.” (this line requested by Hrish Thota) Lots of discussion on who they can be who are tryin; badly to grab attention by some catwalks around.

Ok guys, now its not real summer here.. we have entered pre monsoon.  Cheers guys!

Well well well… we have a guest appearence as I m writing this from Sigma mall food court. Trumpet: Sistila Ganesh. My senior from college days, good to see him remember us and come by to say a hi :) Here he is, a single, handsome hunk:

Sistila Ganesh

Ok then, I need to get back to sharing some good ‘ol days with him now. Raghu is talking to him as of now. (people who are wondering who Raghu is! He is my best buddy)

Hard Rock Cafe - Bengalooru

Finally, the ‘Hard Rock Cafe - Bengalooru (Bangalore)’ has made it into my list of cafes (this one is not really a coffee shop) visited. I was pretty impressed with ambience of the place, well designed aesthetically, well lit (loved the light at the table, I was sitting with Raghu & Hrish) It does carry the mood of Rock with the music being played throughout. Honestly, after visiting the Hard Rock Cafe, the other cafes in Bangalore looked under-done and felt as f they really needed to give their place a face lift of some sort or maybe i’m too influenced as of now, lol! :)

Okay! I think this place is surely worth a visit. Here are some pics clicked at the Hard Rock Cafe by Hrish:

http://picasaweb.google.com/hrish.thota/HardRockCafeBengaluru

As of now, check it out in the above link. Will try gettin the pics embeded, when I find time.

Here is a short feel-about & Know-about of ‘ The Hard Rock Cafe - Bengalooru’

Location: St. Mark Road, Bangalore (Next to MG Road)

Ambience: Great and rRocky (literally, just like the name), Well lit lights.

Service: I would say, it was okay! cause they keep pestering you politely to keep ordering something or the other. And you need to ask a million times for water. Gotta be specific on how many glasses of water your table needs. Otherwise might land up getting it only for the person who asked for. Should appreciate the service otherwise is great. KUDOS for that.

Cost: Expensive/ Affordable. Can have a good time with a li’l deep pockets.

My order: Banana Smoothie: 180 Rs. and Jumbo Non-veg Combo (excellent choice of order) -500 Rs. French Fries: 100 Rs. Must say, yummy food they got. APPLAUSE

Overall: I would rate it 8/10

Impressed with Tumblr

A couple of days back. A blog friend of mine Sindhu closed down her ‘wordpress blog’ only to be moving to her new blog site called http://sindhu.tumblr.com … This act of hers did not really impact me or quiz me of why she did so. Again, it’s her blog, her posts and her absolute right. We just need to accept it, go ahead and subscribe to her new blog to continue to read her writings, for which she did take some effort in sending everyone her subscribe URL and her new address too!

Getting to the point…. the word ‘Tumblr.com’ was the one which really made me think. It was pretty funny, but I did read a post in praises of it in Sindhu’s blog and the reason as to why she chose ‘Tumblr’. Today, finally I managed to remember and check it out. ‘ www.tumblr.com’ Logged in. New user name/pw and entered the Tumblr world….

I should say I was impressed. It was clean, simple and nice. Which tempted to me to check out more of it. It ain’t option filled like WordPress. But still it served its purpose and one thing that really made me love it is…… it added my picture as the URL’s icon. Now, that ended with me having a tumblr blog now at this URL: http:/mybag.tumblr.com …Guys, you can check out the URL icon.. its meeeeee :) :) and I have called this “Spacing Mind’. As of now, posted a couple of posts as test… and I think I might post something soon at that addresss… but again nothing better than HOME…. so you shall continue reading more of me at this web space :)

Fishing for net at Trivandrum

Whoa!!!!! I am so glad I’m seeing a computer with internet. I ain’t exaggerating, I really had to fish for some an internet cafe to check my mails. My search began on Wednesday of this week, finally found one on Friday before I came to a conclusion that this city city is still stone age {now I’m exxaggerating, lol} All the boards which said INternet, email, games….. do not exist in real when you land up the door of the shop!!!! Its like a thirsty man finding a mirage of a spring….. but finally he does find a real spring, just like I found this one…I am so glad as I’m writing this.. so I have to give credits to the this shop guy.. its called ‘ Sri Ayyappan Ned Cafe’ Indhernet for Rs. 10 with A/C’ [which was an attraction factor, thought there was a nice fan to chill the place] ;)

My journey has been pretty interesting to me from the time I boarded the KSRTC Airavath which broke at 10.30 pm in the middle of nowhere and reached Triv the next day at 3 pm almost a days journey, which was not meant to be so, as it was to be only 16 hrs!!!! Anyways…. The city has managed to maintain its culture, language, tradition and history really very well…. me with my buddy Raghu( still not a blogger to link) clicked some real good pictures. There might be an impression that we are here for fun, but NOPE! we are on FilmCamp.TV work for a workshop of filmmaking here in this city. WORK IS IN PROGRESS…..

Shall surely share more interesting events that are worth a space in my memory :) soon…. as soon as I’m back to Bangalore which would be possibly in another 5 days!!!!!

Laters :)

P.S. Few things I would like to add on

  • get a lappy ASAP with wireless internet which is one thing I decided to do.

And ya…. there is lots of such internet cafes near the Trivandrum Techno Park which is like 18 kms away from the city { it sounds like flashing a torch light at the sun, lol} anyways!!!! ON the GOOD NOTE: it surely is a beautiful city and lots of interesting things to know as well……. and to learn like Malayalam which I managed pretty well, unlike my buddy who tries his best to bend Kannada into Malayalam.. sounds muerderous.. but KUDOS to his effort :)

Evada Poyi? Trivandrum here I come

bibomediacom_104835.pngA chance to get out of the city buzz of Bangalore. I will be heading to Trivandrum today evenin by bus in 8 hrs from now. Have been hearing loads of things about ‘Gods Own Country’ ever since God created me. The lush green land, countless coconut trees, the Mallu English, the fish dishes :) and the backwaters. Never got to make it there though been living in India from the time I was born. Its a pity that most of us do not know our own country so well. So here is my step to getting to know my nation well enough. Will be there for a weeks time starting today!

I am all geared for it:

  • Back Pack
  • Digi Cam
  • My notebook
  • My pod
  • And loads of new Malayalam words :D (got my buddy to teach me some, so that I can take care of my basic conversations with ‘em)

Thads it foor now! Shall post looads of potos when I get bagk froom KEErala….. and juzt praayingg dhat I haave enersy to write my bloag when I em bagk….. (thats for the accent:)]

RACE - a DISGRACE

RACE can be defined as an absolute waste of 2.5 hours of one’s precious time, which can be spent more worthwhile by even gazing at the stars. I really can’t tell you how bull shitted I was…… Same ol’ plot of betrayal….Bad script…. Acting not worth commenting on…..Adding to this was the theater, screwed up on the sound….. which made it even worse for me to sit through the film….they thought multiple twists would interest the audeince but  left the movie all twisted making it so difficult to untie at the end. Anil Kapoor - the joker in the film and extra bonus of Sameera Reddy…..dumb blonde secretary! music: Pritam’s style, nothing special! Well I should say that they had some good cars….. thats it! If you are at the end of joblessness, then you could maybe choose to watch this……

I plan to compensate for this bad film by watchin JUNO / VANTAGE POINT. I strongly recommend you to watch this, but not RACE- the DISGRACE

p.s: RACE: it an action thriller in Hindi from the BOLLYWOD starring Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Sameera Reddy, Bipasha Basu & Katrina Kaif. (this is piece of info I remember about the film)

Good Friday ‘nite’

Well.. well…finally made it to writing a post in my here after almost 3 months. Honestly, I don’t have a reason as to why. Nevertheless now that I am have made it, I’ve decided that I would be more regular from now on. Still do remember, Thej bhai telling me that these were the ‘dry days’ for a blogger, when he/she really doesn’t manage to write anything. Well, now I think the days have just passed by……..

A long weekend is what it is called, it did start off well. Firstly, I got to wake up at my own pace unlike the usual days. I really think that is a great start for an off. I was planning my rest of the day which included cleaning my room (thought its neat most of the times, lol) Start of my painting (after 6 months), complete my story’s second draft and………… {ring} {ring} ‘Ragu callin’ my mobile :

Me: Hey bro, sup!

Ragu: wanna watch TZP…. I’m goin now

Me: mooru sala aithappa (watched three times already)

Ragu: aitho! (fine) Plannin a boys nite out at my place… wanna join…

Me: Shall try….as I’m still plannin my day

Ragu: whatever kano! Let me know. Bye!

Me: Mast Majaa madi ( have a blast)

{ting tong} I landed up at Raghu’s place at 9 30pm for some movie watchin - I watched 1 n half…. and went of snoring to glory(the other 8 male creatures stayed up to watch SRK :P) , UNO playin ( had to handle many novices), chatting (cant beat the girls in this though) and a never fullfilled bike ride at 2 am to Skandagiri :( Awesome hilltop it is where people ride and trek to watch the sunrise :D I did promise myself that I would make it there by this weekend (for a sneak peek scroll down). But I did have a great time. Got to meet some new people who were Raghu’s school buddies, I enjoyed it even more as they were unveiling so many hidden plots of Raghu….. he he!!!! Its been sometime since I landed up at a place so crowded [:)] with 9 people incl me :)

{beep} {beep} my alarm went on… I hated it for the first time, as I used it during my work days, it just woke me up when I was just falling asleep at 5 am…. still had my good ol’ patience to swtich it off.. and woke up at 9 am .. and headed back home :)

Now looking forward for another productive day :)

P.S. Wondering what happened to my plans??? well… I did start off with my painting ;)

Here are a few pics of Skandagiri… I WILL MAKE IT THERE>>> yeah! The following pics are of ‘enidi‘ : Click here to view pics
